Usually survey sites
would pay you something between $2 to $10 and
sometimes as much as $100 for taking their surveys,
depending upon the thought and time you have to
spend for answering the survey questions.
On the other hand the group
discussions net you considerably more as you have to
give more effort taking part in them - this can be
in person, online or by phone.
But all survey sites don't pay out cash. Some
research sites award points to be redeemed in cash,
while others may enter you in sweepstakes for
winning gifts. So you get paid for survey in cash or
kind.
Is Good Income Possible From Paid Online
Surveys?
Yes, if you take part in a large number of surveys.
This is because you are more likely to get checks of
$5 to $20 than $100 and a limited number of invites
from a particular survey site.
So you have to join a
goodly number of paid online survey sites if you
want to get invited to more surveys more often. This
way even the small payouts of $5 or $10 can add up
to a good amount of money every month. A bigger
payout now and then would of course be a welcome
surprise and add to your earnings.
Can You Live On Surveys?
You would do well to consider online paid surveys as
a way to make some extra income now and then rather
than a way to replace your regular job. This is
because you cannot reasonably expect to receive
big-paying survey invites every day of the month.
Moreover, you may not qualify
for all the
surveys to which you are invited because of
demographics: that is where you live, your age,
work, gender, interests etc.
For example, if you are invited to a survey about
women’s fashion magazines, and you happen to be a
male, the first screening questions would disqualify
you from the survey. In such a case, the survey site
may enter you to win a sweepstake or give you some
points as a thank-you for trying its survey.
So the strategy is to join as many survey sites as
possible to increase your chances of getting invited
to those surveys for which you qualify. |
